Time is allocated in 1-hour increments (T12) and 8-hour increments (F20)

Microscopes are made available on a first-come first-served basis. However, the following restrictions apply:

T12: each user can reserve two sessions in advance, for a maximum of 6 hours
total usage.

F20: users can only reserve two 8-hour sessions in advance. Only one of these
sessions can be during main working hours from 8AM-4PM.

Users who know at the time of booking that they will need less than 8 hours of time, should only book time during the "off-hours" slots (4PM-midnight).

A 15-minute (T12) and 30-minute (F20) grace period applies to each reserved time slot. If use has not commenced by the end of the grace period, the reservation becomes void and the remainder of the time is available for use on a first-come first-served basis. Repeated failure to show up for reserved time slots is subject to penalties (see FEE SCHEDULE).

Carbon Evaporator

Users need to sign up ahead of time for use of the carbon evaporator. Explicit policies are posted with the instrument.
