Services

Services provided by the EM Facility include:

• Processing, sectioning and analysis of plastic-embedded cells and tissues
• Serial sectioning and 3-D reconstruction
• Stereology
• Cryo-ultramicrotomy and immuno-gold labeling
• Negative staining
• Photography
• Consultancy and training

Techniques not listed here (scanning electron microscopy, rotary shadowing…) can be arranged on demand. Work can be delegated completely to the staff of the Facility, or carried out in part or completely by users. Initial training is provided for free.
