Macromolecular X-Ray Crystallography

Instruments

The lab is equipped with three X-ray units: (1) a R-Axis IV++ detector with a Rigaku MicroMax X-ray generator and VariMax Confocal optical system, and X-stream 2000 cryogenic system (system 4E); (2) a R-Axis II detector with a RU-H3R generator and Osmic Blue multilayer mirrors, and an Oxford Cryojet cooling system (system 2C); and (3) a R-Axis II with a Rigaku RUH3R generator and Yale adjustable mirrors, and a X-stream cryogenic system (system 2D).

For users that do not have crystallographic software in their lab, HKL2000, CCP4, Solve, O, Molscript, and Crystal Eyes are available on a SGI Linus system.
